Alas, one package to France and one package to England I mailed out this year seem to be lost *grumbles over European post* but all my packages to Asia and Australia got to their destinations. MUCH LOVE and thanks to all of you who have sent parcels my way. Only one from Indonesia was lost and one from Tokyo was eventually recovered. Was it just me who missed Live Journal for that whole hour it was down? I was just trying to get polls up is all. That and waiting for Bleach spoilers. There appear to be none today even though One Piece and Naruto spoilers are already out. I'm pretty sure that there's a Bleach chapter in this issue of Shounen Jump. It's the following week that Kubo-sensei is taking a vacation (just a heads-up for you addicts). Anyway, for those of you who need a spoiler fix, Guildenstern has provided some: ( warning: fake spoilers ) In other news, people are predicting that Unohana is going to gouge out Ichigo's eyes in the next chapter so that he can't see Aizen's shikai. Now, I know she looked scary in the last chapter's close-ups and I've always suspected SS of shady doings but do you really think that the four devils are the Shinigami of the last chapter and that SS is setting Ichigo up? There's an interesting thread on the subject at BA. It's really my favorite subject in Bleach, believe it or not--the whole ethics of SS business, not who gets to rape Uryuu next in my upoming fic. | |

I've been meaning to update but in the meantime, I have fic. Next-generation HP fic that is. A very slightly older version has been up on Phoenix Song for a while (sans bad language), but some may not have seen it. Or may have seen it and loathed it. Very possible, judging from the reviews I've had so far, which have been kind, but largely frustrated. Title: Slight Return (I didn't write this as a songfic, the title came to me, then I checked the lyrics and they kinda worked so I kept it). Summary: They have some catching up to do. Genre: Flangst? Maybe someone can let me know... Characters / pairings: Sort of a spoiler if I include it, oh what the hell, it's Rose/Scorpius. Narcissa Malfoy. Ron/Hermione if you squint and bear in mind that this stroy references the most harrowing scene in the whole of HP. For my money anyway. For the record, I still love Ron and Hermione who can do very little wrong in my eyes, it's always been that way and it always will be, but that doesn't mean the characters in the story agree necessarily. Warnings: Open-ended. Complete. There is no more. Word count: 5500

I did my Rukia for Koto's cultural exchange! I was born in Ecuador--not the mountain part but the coast part, but because the mountain clothes are cheap and handmade, my family sends me a lot of them. They are not exactly flattering to the female form but they're colorful and comfortable and I have lots of neat ponchos. Saree is more renowned as the Indian national costume but its the same for Bangladesh (that's where I'm from) too. Traditionally a bridal saree is MUCH more adorned but I went with a simpler style. Pomegranates are pretty much the best fruit ever. I haven't got the hang of peeling them yet without stabbing arils, but they're full of what look like little red gems, especially since they facet as they grow, and as you open the fruit you keep finding more~ like the easiest treasure hunt ever and when you're done you have sticky fingers and some juice on the monitor oopsa pile of beautiful little red things that shine and that you can eat! Nom nom nom. - Mood:cheerful
